Pension payments
When are pensions paid?
Pensions are paid monthly in advance, in principle on the third last working day of the month.
Do you want to check that your pension has indeed been paid into your bank account each month?
We understand this perfectly well at the CNAP!
You can find all the payment dates in the payment calendar for the year.
However, we cannot tell you at what precise time of day your pension will actually be in your bank account. This depends on the bank where you have your account and whether you have a Luxembourg or foreign account.

Download the .ics file with the CNAP monthly payment calendar for 2025 and add it to your private calendar.
This way, you can be informed or notified of the next pension payment.
Payment into your Luxembourg bank account:
The payment date shown in this table corresponds to the bank value date. The time at which the pension is credited to your account varies from one bank to another depending on the bank's internal rules, and we cannot tell you at what time your pension will actually arrive in your bank account.
It is important to note, however, that an extra day must be allowed for transfers to a bank account held with a bank with which the CNAP does not have a direct relationship.
Payment into your foreign bank account:
The transfer of the Luxembourg pension is subject to the rules applied between international banking institutions and this is beyond the control of the CNAP.
Please be patient if your pension does not appear in your bank account immediately.
