September 2020: Adaptation of the procedure with France, Belgium and Germany
The CNAP has signed agreements with the social security institutions of the countries mentioned with a view to the electronic exchange of data relating to pension holders and deaths.
In principle, pension holders residing in these countries will therefore no longer receive life certificate requests, unless their data cannot be exchanged automatically.
Pension payments will be stopped in the following cases:
- if the life certificate is not returned to the CNAP before the deadline shown on the form.
- if the form is not the original document. Copies, faxes and e-mails will not be accepted.
- if the form is not fully completed.
The pension holder must answer all the questions and sign the form. The mayor of the place of residence or their representative must also countersign the form.
- Part A is to be completed and signed by the pension holder
- Part B is to be completed and signed by the local authority.
If the address has changed, the pension holder must enclose a certificate of residence or another official document.
