First edition of Pensiounsdag: a resounding success
On 14 October, the National Pension Insurance Office (CNAP) organised its first ‘Pensiounsdag’ at Cube 521 in Marnach under the slogan ‘We're coming to you’. During the day, visitors were able to obtain individual advice on their pensions, visit an exhibition and attend conferences.
The day was officially opened by Martine Deprez, Minister of Health and Social Security, and Alain Reuter, President of the CNAP, who emphasised the importance of information on social security and pensions for the general public.
In total, more than 250 individual consultations were carried out by CNAP advisers, providing personalised support to each visitor.
The exhibition brought together 13 external organisations from the social security sector, offering visitors an overview of the services available.
During the presentations, visitors learned about the CNAP's services and received practical advice on applying for a pension. External presentations were given by GERO on the transition to retirement, by the Social Security Centre (CCSS) on voluntary pension insurance, and by the ACA on the third pillar of the pension system.
The success of this first edition confirms the growing public interest in information on pensions. Preparations for Pensiounsdag 2026 are already underway.
